Faithworks Kids Church meets every second Wednesday at 6:30 PM and is designed to help children connect with God in a fun, meaningful way. Each service includes interactive songs, high-energy worship, and a kid-focused message that speaks to their everyday lives, followed by a special time of prayer in the altars where kids can respond and grow in their faith. Parents are encouraged to attend and be part of what God is doing in the next generation.
Andrea Orr
Faithworks Kids Director
Andrea Orr leads our Wednesday night class for children ages 5 to 12 with skill, patience, and a heart for every child. With a Master’s in Autism Spectrum Disorders, a Bachelor’s in Special Education, and 11 years of teaching experience, she creates an inclusive and engaging environment where all kids can learn about Jesus. Andrea is CPR and CPI certified, and her classroom blends structure, creativity, and spiritual growth in a safe and welcoming space.
Crystal Hoenes
Sunday School (ages 2-6)
With over 30 years of Sunday school experience, Crystal Hoenes brings joy, structure, and faith-filled lessons to our youngest learners each Sunday morning. She helps children ages 2 to 6 grow comfortable in a classroom setting through fun, hands-on activities, while gently introducing them to the love of Jesus. Her heart for kids and passion for teaching create a safe and engaging environment where little ones can begin their walk with God.
Tiffany Hoenes
ALJC IL KidzQuest Director
Tiffany brings over 13 years of experience in children's ministry & youth involvement to her role as KidzQuest Director. Throughout the years, she has served as a youth chaperone, Sunday School teacher, and event planner. She has a passion for teaching biblical truth in age-appropriate ways & believes in laying a strong foundation of faith for the next generation. Stepping into this role in August of 2025, she has committed to developing programs that combine fun, fellowship & solid biblical teaching!
