Faithworks Church is a Christ-centered community dedicated to living out the Word of God with love and action. Rooted in the foundational truth of Acts 2:38, we believe in the power of repentance, baptism in Jesus' name, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit for salvation. We prioritize building relationships with one another, offering opportunities for prayer, worship, and in-depth Bible study.

Meet Our Board
The board of Faithworks Church is made up of faithful, dedicated individuals who serve with humility, give generously, and lead with spiritual wisdom. Their deep knowledge of the Word of God and unwavering commitment to the mission of the church provide steady guidance and strength to our congregation. Each member leads by example—serving not for recognition, but out of a sincere love for God and His people.
Joseph Hoenes
Joseph Hoenes is a first-generation Apostolic believer who was baptized at age 17. Now 66, Joseph brings a heart for service and a deep knowledge of the Bible to the Faithworks Church board. He has faithfully served in church for many years. His past roles include security team member, Sunday school superintendent and teacher, and lighting director. He currently teaches HVAC at Lake Land Community College and remains committed to sharing truth with others.
Gary Sanders
Gary Sanders is a second-generation Apostolic believer who has faithfully served the church throughout his life. Now 73, Gary brings decades of experience and spiritual wisdom to the Faithworks Church board. Over the years, he has served in many roles—from usher, board member and greeter to security team member and Sunday school teacher. A retired field service technician from ICTC, Gary is known for his steady presence, kind heart, and deep commitment to the Apostolic faith.
Jake Hoenes (Pastor)
Jake Hoenes is another lifelong Apostolic believer. He has been involved in ministry from a young age, serving as a drummer, Sunday School teacher, worship leader, and praise singer. Jake brings both spiritual enthusiasm and organizational leadership to the board. He currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Forge Machines, where he leads with integrity and vision. His heart for the church and commitment to Apostolic truth are evident in every role he takes on.
